Cannobio and il Lago Maggiore

Cannobio is one of the most beautiful villages on the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore, nestled between the lake and the mountains. You will be fascinated by its famous lakeside promenade, its wide beach and the beautiful view of the Orrido di Sant'Anna or the Ponte Ballerino. This town is located a few kilometres from Switzerland and in the immediate vicinity of the most beautiful places of interest in the area, including the Borromean Islands, the gardens of Villa Taranto and the city of Locarno, known for its famous Film Festival.
