Our story

Residence Villa Margherita was inaugurated more than 20 years ago by Elsa and Simone's, two Milanese entrepreneurs who fell in love with the small village of Cannobio located on the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore, and have since then believed and invested in the project of a new hotel facility.
So in 1997 they opened a house with holiday apartments. Then, the following year, motivated by the enthusiasm and requests of the guests, they added a bar, transforming the facility into a Residence Hotel.
After the first two years of managing the facility, work commitments in Milan led the owners to entrust Villa Margherita to others.

Over the years the facility has become a reference point for many families and couples on holiday, who have found peace in the garden of the Villa to enjoy a few days of relaxation.
Now, however, the management of Residence Villa Margherita is back in the hands of the original owners who, driven by new projects and the desire to renew the facilities, want to offer their guests more services for an increasingly pleasant and relaxing holiday experience.
